Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca have continued their perfect start to the 2021-2022 CAF Champions League group stages.
The three-time champions left it late to score through Mohamed Zrida barely 19 minutes from the end of regulation time to back home all three points.
Hosts Setif came into the fixture with the agony of defeat in Match-Day one while Raja was hoping to make it two in two.
However, the all-North Africa confrontation at the July 5th Stadium failed to produce a goal in the opening 45 minutes despite both sides creating great goal scoring opportunities.
Both sides adjusted their personnel after the break with the hopes of scoring the opening goal.
23-year old Mohamed Zrida decided the contest in the 71st minute when he scored the opener for visiting Raja.
Though Setif camped in the Raja area for the final 15 minutes of the game, the visitors defended resolutely till full-time.
The victory puts them back at the top of group B of the 2021-2022 Competition with six points ahead of back-to-back games against bottom-placed Horoya who are pointless going into Match-Day three and four.
South Africa’s AmaZulu are second seeded in the group with three points from two outings so far ES Setif.
