Group B of the CAF Champions League has been decided as Raja Club Athletic of Morocco and ES Setif of Algeria have both secured berths for the last 8 round of the competition.
Raja Club Athletic defeated Amazulu FC of South Africa by two goals to nil in Durban to push up to twelve points after five games.
Hamid Ahadad scored as early as the 6 minutes to put the Green Eagles in the mood of triumph.
After no other goal was scored in the first phase, the Moroccan representatives got another goal 14 minutes to end of the final whistle as Ilias Haddad in the 76th complicated things for the fans in Moses Mabhida Stadium to make it 2-0.
The game would end that way, ending the South Africans chances of progressing to the round of 8.
Meanwhile, a brace from Riad Benayad at crucial times helped Algerian side, ES Setif secure a quarter final place on Friday night.
Setif joined group leaders of group B, Raja Club Athletic after edging Horoya FC by three goals to two.
The Algerians had to dig deep however coming back twice and needing a last gasp finisher to decide their fate.
Seyei Baffour had given the Burkina Faso side the lead in the 8th minutes, but Akram Djahnit equalled proceedings in the second minutes of the second half.
Morlaye Sylla restored the home side lead in the 57th minutes, but Setif came back again to make it two all through familiar poacher, Riad Benayad in the 87th minutes.
However, Riad Benayad scored his second at a time that things were irredeemable at 90+3 minutes.
