The CAF champions and Confederations Cup draws have been done and Nigerian representatives, Enyimba, Kano Pillars, Ranger FC and Niger Tornadoes have all known their opponents in the first round matches.
The CAF champions draw which had 61 teams from 61 countries saw Nigerian champions, Enyimba of Aba pitch against Burkina Faso’s Rahimo FC.
Rahimo FC plays home first on 23rd August and the reverse fixture at Aba on 25th August.
Kano Pillars seem to have the toughest opponent for the Nigerian teams as they are up against Asante Kotoko of Ghana.
Pillars play home first and the second leg will take place in Ghana.
For the CAF Confederation Cup, Rangers International FC were drawn bye which means they play no team till the next round.
For Niger Tornadoes, they will have their works cut out against Guinean side Santoba Conakry.
Tornadoes play home in the first leg and will travel to Conakry for the return leg.
The CAF champions league and CAF Confederation Cup first round matches will take place from 23rd-25th August, 2019.
