UMS of Loum’s legendary captain has recovered in time to join the traveling party heading to Kinshasa for this weekend’s crucial second CAF champions League clash against AS Vita Club at the the Stade Martyrs in Kinshasa.
Etogue limped off late in the game due to a knock picked up in the the first leg game in Yaounde two weeks ago but the ever reliable gem of a defensive midfielder has fought his way back to fitness and could start if picked.
The club captain has traveled with the rest of the squad to Kinshasa as UMS set their sights on creating an upset in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Both clubs must score on Sunday to stay in the competition with UMS out in need of a draw with a goal while Vita has the responsibility to outscore UMS of Loum to advance to the next round of the competition.
The return of UMS’s captain is certainly a boost for the club ahead of the game while for AS Vita their head coach Florent Ibenge Ikwangwe also returns to the dogout this Sunday after missing the game in Yaounde.
