2004 CAF Confederation cup semi-finalist Cotonsport of Garoua have had their first training session at the Roumde Adja Stadium in Garoua ahead of their return game in the 2020-2021 competition against Unisport of Sokode on Sunday in at the same venue.
The boys of coach Souleymanou Aboubakar trained at the historic ground from 4pm local time to 5:30pm this Friday.
Captain Kamilou Daouda and mates worked on different drills for thr first 45 minutes after which the trainers splitted the team into two groups for a likely test of plans on match-day.
Cotonsport have a two-nil lead from the first-leg encounter recorded last weekend and will be hoping to build on this to secure qualification for the next round of the competition.
Cotonsport vs. Unisport Sokode: December 6th. 15:00 CAT/2:00 GMT. Stade Roumde Adja, Garoua.
But, before we look ahead to this weekend’s game, let’s take a quick trip back to Lome last week when Cotonsport edged Unisport to win three points.
