Egyptian side, Pyramid FC continued their fine start to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after their win over Zanaco at the National Herdes Stadium on Sunday.
Pyramid’s two nil win came courtesy of South African player, Lakay Fagrie who scored at both halves of the tie.
Fagrie got the opening goal for the Egyptians just on the stroke of half time after an intelligent pass from Sobhi was well slotted in.
He made it two after connecting well to another great pass to beat the goalkeeper, fend off tackle from the defenders and bury the ball at back of the net.
Pyramid’s remain top of group A with six points after two wins. The first cane from beating Ahli Tripoli 2-1 at 30 June Stadium last Sunday.
In the other group A fixture, Ahli Tripoli got their first win in this group campaign after edging Club Sportif Sfaxien by two goals to one.
An own goal by Hammami in the sixth minutes gave the home side the lead and by the second half, it was two zero by the 52nd minutes. A goal scored by Al Taher.
In the 87th minutes, Harzi A. will score what will be the consolation for Faxien.
