14 times Champions of Algeria JS Kabylie of Algeria have touched down Cameroonian soil in the afternoon of Monday, April 19 in view of Wednesday’s game against Cotonsport of Garoua.
The Algerian outfit arrived the Garoua International Airport via a chartered flight and immediately moved to their base in the Northern City of Cameroon where they will continue preparations for Wednesday’s game.
Coach Denis Lavagne’s team will have a recognizance training session at the Roumde Adja Stadium on Tuesday afternoon ahead of Wednesday’s game penciled for 2pm local time.
Cotonsport currently lead group B with 9 points while second-seeded Kabylie are on 6 points going into the game.
The 2pm kick off will be played behind closed doors with strict respect of the Covid-19 prevention measures.
The fixture will see the return of former Cotonsport of Garoua and Indomitable Lions of Cameroon trainer Denis Lavagne, who leads the technical team of the visitors.
53-year old Lavagne managed Cotonsport between 2009-2011 but these days guide the 14 champions.
Coach Souleymanou Aboubakar’s Cotonsport have suffered just two defeats in the Confederation against JSK and Unisport of Sokode and three overall in 14 going into the encounter.
