Cameroon’s surviving representative in the 2020-2021 CAF Confederation cup Cotonsport of Garoua will challenge Zambian outfit Green Eagles in the first-leg of the second preliminary round.
The game is penciled for 2pm Cameroon time at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
It is Cotonsport’s first visit to Zambia in three years. The Cotonites suffered a 2-1 defeat in their last visit to the country against Zanaco FC.
The boys of coach Souleymanou Aboubakar are quite upbeat and rightly so as they won their last away game in the CAF Confederation away to Unisport of Sokode in the previous round.
This Wednesday’s game will followed by a return game in Garoua on January 5.
The winner in the tie will face one of the losers in the two leg CAF Champions League games ongoing this mid-week.
