The draw of the Under 23 Africa Cup of Nations will take place on Thursday ,October 3rd ,2019 at the Haramlek Palace in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.
The event is scheduled for 17:00 ( 3:00pm GMT) local time at the historic Montaza Complex.
Eight teams including host nation Egypt have qualified for the continental football event to run between November 8-22, 2019.
Cameroon and Ghana will make their debut after picking up crucial away qualifications to Tunisia and Algeria respectively.
Holders Nigeria and South Africa have also confirmed their spots haven taken part in all previous editions in 2011 and 2015.
Zambia ,Côté d’Ivoire and Mali complete the trio.
Two venues have been reserved for the competition; the Cairo international Stadium and the Al Salam stadium all located within the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
This year’s U-23 AFCON will also serve as qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.
The top three nations will represent the continent.
