Cameroon champions PWD of Bamenda have returned to the Njalla Sports Academy of Limbe ahead of Sunday’s 2020-2021 CAF Champions League clash against South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs.
Coach David Pagou’s boys arrived Man O War Bay in the early hours of Tuesday, November 24 and immediately took residence at the modern NQSA edifice where they will combine training and other preparations activities ahead of the eagerly-awaited encounter.
The Abakwa boys only returned to the country late last week after spending just under a week in the Libyan city of Tripoli where they played two friendly games and returned unbeaten with one win.
Sunday’s game at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium in Ngeme will be the Club’s first appearance in the CAF Interclub competitions in 16 years and first meeting with Kaizer Chiefs.
Both sides see the fixture as the first step towards the elusive CAF Champions League group stage.
Kaizer Chiefs are expected in Cameroon via the Douala International Airport this Friday.
The return leg game is scheduled in South Africa at an unspecified venue on December 5.
