50-year-old tactician of reigning champions of Cameroon elite one championship 2020, PWD Social Club of Bamenda has admitted his boys did not give in their best in the encounter against Kaiser Chiefs in Limbe but remain optimistic his side can give more in the return game this Friday in South Africa.
PWD suffered a one-nil defeat in the first leg preliminary round game in the the CAF Champions League pitting PWD of Bamenda and Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa.
The 50-year-old gaffer and former boss Dragon, Apejes, Cosmos, YaoundĂ© II, Eding Sport, while speaking to kick442.com admitted his team didn’t tick but hopes they get it right soonest.
“There is a problem, a very big problem.”
The Abakwa Boys played a series of friendly games both home and abroad with a relatively encouraging performance with international clubs but that failed to display in the team on Sunday.
“All the evaluation matches we played does not count. So we are waiting for the return leg of the Champions league to see how the guys will react.”
“It is a football match, they scored one goal here, we had a penalty, we loss it, so maybe in South Africa the guys will express their game better.

The former Renaissance trainer of Ngoumou
took over as lead trainer for the North West outfit on September 17, 2019, and has been able to qualify the team to it’s first ever CAF champions League, after winning the Cameroon elite one championship 2020.
The return leg of the preliminary round will be played in South Africa, December 5th, 2020. The Abakwa boys will have to be more offensive, in order to go through to the next round of the competition.
PWD requires a win by a goal margin to qualify or take the game to extra time.
