PWD social club of Bamenda have landed in South African capital Johannesburg for their return leg game against Kaiser Chief.
The team is expected to take on South African giants Kaiser Chief at exactly 5pm Cameroon time. This is the return leg game in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Coach David Pagou and Boys left Cameroon Friday December 4th and landed mid-day in South Africa Saturday December 5th, 2020.
Inspite of the difficulties encountered by the team, a statement from the club reads
“Team PWD is fully engaged to ably represent Cameroon despite all the odds. We continue to count on the support of all the fans and supporters of PWD of Bamenda,”
The Abakwa Boys suffered a on nil defeat from the hands of Kaiser Chief at home and will be looking chances to qualify for the group stage of CAF interclub competition.
The team comprises of 18 players to face the Amakosi.
