The CAF Executive Committee at its meeting in Paris has agreed to use European referees for the replay of the CAF Champions League final return leg between Esperance & Wydad.

The body had agreed to play the match again after considerations on how the final match went and much protest from the Wydad camp.

The Esperance team who had been declared winner after the premature end of the game was has said they will not be playing the replay match and will be heading to the Court Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

The replay date is yet to be made known but it said to hold after the African Nations Cup in July.
