Confederation of Abfrican Football, CAF during its Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, announced that Cameroon and Morocco will host the remaining games of the CAF Champions League and confederation cup.

The games will be played in the month of September, as opposed to the month of May that was set to draw the curtains on CAF club competitions.

CAF’s postponement of her twin tournament is due to the CoronaVirus pandemic, currently acting as a menace to the world.

Unlike what used to obtain in the previous editions, games will be played on a single leg basis with immediate extra time and penalties if there is absolute parity at the end of any match.

Due to the latest developments there is little or no margin for error with the 8 remaining teams from three countries.

Raja Casablanca pits heavyweights Al Ahly while Wydad Athletic try to continue their scintillating form against Zamalek in the CAF Champions League semis.

In the confed cup, Pyramids log horns with Horoya and R. S Berkane against Hassania Agadir.

State of the art exquisitely crafted, 50,000-capacity all-seater Japoma stadium acts as host to Champions League games.

On the other hand, Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Stadium is the venue of the second-tier CAF Confederation Cup billed for September.
