The media officer of Stade Renard of Melong, Joseph Mino has told the public in a Televised TV debate “La Presse Refait Le match” on STV Cameroon that, the club’s different supporters platform are closing in on a deal to make available transportation facilities at different avenues for fans to descend to Limbe this weekend and push Stade Renard of Melong to victory. The club face in the CAF Confederation Cup second leg game against Congolese outfit Daring Club Motema Pembe.
Stade Renard of Melong needs to score 3 goals without a reply or 3 goals more than their opponents on the day to stay in the competition.
Considering Limbe as their second home, they Moungo Division outfit have a realistic chance of making it through to the second qualifying round of their debut CAF club competition.
“We have a vibrant supporters union in Cameroon and abroad. The different parties are doing their all to make available buses to transport supporters from Yaounde, Douala and Melong to the Stadium in Limbe and back, in the days ahead we will be disclosing details on how to get to those in charge of this facilities, we are quite confident we will win in Limbe and we want our supporters to be part of this historic event” Mino stated
Stade Renard accepted a 2 nil defeat away in Kinshasa 2 weeks back. The team have always produced good results in Limbe especially on their way to winning the 2019 Cameroon Cup trophy.
