Thierry Aloukou,Ledoux Moudoungo, Tchahou Guy and Bienvenu Mbith have handed Stade Renard of Melong a fitness boost ahead of their second leg all-important CAF Confederation Cup tie against DC Motema Pembe this weekend in Limbe.
The quartet resume training last week after resolving fitness issues.
Nkuissi Legrand’s first choice defensive partner, Thierry Aloukou is set to regain his place in the defense alongside Legrand this weekend against DC Motema Pembe in the return leg fixture in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Aloukou missed the 2 nil defeat away in Kinshasa 2 weeks ago and his reurn gives Stade Renard of Melong a better set up at the back.
Alouko is one of 3 key registered players who missed the away game due to different fitness reasons but will be available for coach Ebwelle Bertin this weekend in Limbe.
Wing back Bienvenu Mbith has also return to the team and the speedy wing back’s exceptional dead ball execution skills freshens the Renard team, just like the return of long term servant Ledoux Moudoun.
Tchahou Guy also brings offensive creativity to a Stade Renard side needing to be at their attacking best to overcome a 2 nil deficit on Sunday.
Ledoux was arguably Stade Renard’s best player in the 2017 season and his return only makes his team better when they need to be.
New Signings Christian Tchawa, Simo Berteau, Christian Bidebeleg and Herve Ngono are not eligible for selection because they didn’t move to the club in time for their documents to be registered for the qualifying phase of the competition.
