Players and staff of 15-times champions of Cameroon, Cotonsport of Garoua, have completed the routine Covid-19 test ahead of their 2020-2021 CAF Confederation cup first-leg preliminary round game against Unisport FC Sokode in Togo.
The team is expected to leave Cameroon for Togo via the Douala International Airport this Thursday, November 26 ahead of Sunday’s game.
Felix Oukine and his colleagues plus the auxiliary staff all tested negative on Thursday in Garoua.
The Club’s players will leave Garoua on Tuesday for Douala where they will connect with some of their colleagues already in Douala ahead of the trip.
Intermediate Lions Youssoufa Haouzifi, Anye Derick, Banga Solomon, Ngombe Etame, Marou Souaibou and Thierry Tchuente are expected to join the rest of the squad picked for the team in Douala.
The game is the first meeting between both sides and the first of at least four games to determine the entry of either side into the group stage of this year’s CAF Confederation cup.
