Nkana FC communication director Lillian Musenge has insisted Nkana doesn’t feel under excessive pressure ahead of the CAF confederation match against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

In an exclusive interview granted to Kumasi based radio,ASHH FM,Lilian was quite Optimistic and explained some key aspects about’s Nkana FC’s recent form.

We lost to Power Dynamos because our players were tired and also wanted to be careful ahead of the game against Kotoko because it’s an important game so we must prepare very well”

“Losing to Power Dynamo is nothing serious but I know our players will recover very fast and be ready for Kotoko on Sunday”

“There is no pressure on Nkana Fc players because we lost our derby game against Power Dynamos, but we will just prepare very well because every game in the group is very important”

“Our players are used to pressure and that makes them ready for any team in the group….Our players have not rested this season playing in a lot of active Competitions,so I trust them to win the game on Sunday”

“The standings on the group table is nothing serious because Kotoko is not good away travellers so we will score them on Sunday to carry all the 3points”

“Kotoko winning in Cameroon against Coton Sport was not in the group stage and playing in the group stages is a different ball game all together, so that can’t be a yardstick for Kotoko to win on Sunday” Lilian concluded

The game Kicks off at 3pm in local time which is 1pm Ghana time and both clubs will be battling for 3 points to add to the 3 points they have each accumulated from 2 games.
