South Africa’s second-tier side, TS Galaxy has kept on improving on her fairytale run in the CAF Confederations cup after a rich 4-1 aggregate score over Madagascar’s CNaPS Sport.

Having won by a solitary goal in SA, Galaxy put 3 past CNaPS with only one late reply coming from the hosts, to no avail.

Coach Dean Malesela started the game without usual suspects most noticeably his first choice goalkeeper, Ludwa Mpakumpaku.

CAF Confederation cup debutants TS Galaxy started on a good footing with a 19th minute goal from Samkelo Shangase, who benefited from a defensive howler.

Galaxy played with even more industry in the second half as CNaPS opened up gaps in search of an equaliser. The game looked stretched and delicately poised until the 56th minute when Sanele Barns made no mistake from 6 yards.

The visitors drew their third and final blood on the day courtesy an on fire Barns. CNaPS Sport got a lifeline deep into the second half but there was little or no time for a resurgence of any sort.

This victory therefore means, TS Galaxy keeps her hopes of making the CAF Confederation cup group stages which comes immediately after the last playoff round.

After this amazing result, the 2019 Nedbank cup winners have just a huddle left before making the lucrative group stages of the CAF Confederation cup.
