CAF CC: Green Eagles arrive Cameroon ahead of Cotonsport clash

Football Writer, kick442.com-Nigeria

Tuesday will be a busy day for Clubs participating in the 2020-2021 CAF Confederation cup play-offs.

A number of the Clubs will be in action across the continent as the quest for group stage qualification climax.

Hilal Obayed V Namungo

The first match today will be between Hilal Obayed of Sudan and Tanzania’s Namungo.

Namungo took a step towards the next qualifying round with a first leg 2-0 win in Tanzania.

Hilal Obayed have a good home record and that is expected to help them today but a 2-0 away loss in the first leg means they’ll have to win by 3 goals margin. I expect Namungo to progress.

Stade 1er Novemrbre 1954 Algeria will host the match between JS Kabylie of Algeria and US Gendarmerie Nationale of Niger Republic.

The Algerian side took a step towards the next qualifying round when they won the first leg 2-1 away but losing 3-0 at home recently to CR Belouizdad in the league means they’re beatable.

Coton Sports Vs Green Eagles

Coton Sports of Cameroon will welcome Green Eagles of Zambia to Cameroon by 15:30.

Coton Sports with a 2-0 win in the first leg looks home and dry but without taking anything away from Zambia’s Green Eagles, I expect them to make life difficult for Coton Sports. With the advantage from first leg, Coton Sports should progress.

Motema Pembe Vs FC Bravo do Maquis

It’s a fight to finish this evening at the 80,000 capacity Stade des Martyrs, Stade Tata Raphael, DR Congo when Motema Pembe welcomes FC Bravo do Maquis for the return leg of a first leg that ended 1-0 in favor of Motema Pembe.

Although Motema have the advantage having won the first leg away but it’s not over for Bravo yet as I expect them to give their all for the group stages ticket.

Pyramids Vs Al-Ittihad Tripoli

30 June Stadium, home of Egyptian side Pyramids will play host to the last match of the day between Pyramids and Al-Ittihad Tripoli.

Pyramids won the first leg in Lybia to put themselves in the pole position to qualify and with no disrespect to Al-Ittihad Tripoli, kick442.com expect Pyramids to take this.
