25-year-old Cameroon midfielder Moussa Souleymanou was the hero for Zanaco in their Day 5 game in Group C of the Group Stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Zambia giants were receiving DC Motema Pembe of the DRC.

The National Heroes Stadium was silenced barely seven minutes into the game when Bayindula Nkongo put the visitors ahead.

DC Motema Pembe looked to earn a precious away win, but Zanaco rallied late to secure all three points.

Ghanaian defender Kevin Owusu Amoh equalized with seven minutes of regular time left, before Souleymanou Moussa grabbed the winner deep into extra time.

Moussa was introduced at the 69th minute, to take the place of Zambia midfielder Ernest Mbewe.

It looked to be an inspired substitution from coach Chris Kaunda.

The four times Cameroon league winner with Cotonsport of Garoua was making his fourth appearance with Zanaco in the competition and got his first goal which helped them secure a win that looked unlikely in most parts of the game.

RSB Berkane top the Group with 10 points, ahead of Zanaco on nine points. DC Motema Pembe are third with 7 points and Esae FC tail the group with just one point in five games.
