Two time African Champions, Enyimba Football Club of Nigeria will face Algerian, South African, and Libyan opponents at the group stage of the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup after Monday’s draw.
Enyimba were drawn in Group A alongside ES Setif of Algeria, Orlando Pirates of South Africa, and Ahli Benghazi of Libya.
The People’s Elephant eliminated fellow Nigerian side, Rivers United on penalties after playing out a 1-1 draw on aggregate.
The Fatai Osho tutored side dropped to the second tier African club tournament from the CAF Confederation Cup.
Enyimba will attempt to become the first Nigerian club to win the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the CAF Champions League in 2003 and 2004.
