Africa football ruling body, Confederation of African Football (CAF) have approved 30% of stadium capacity fans to watch Super Eagles of Nigeria African Cup of Nations (AFCON) final Group L clash with Lesotho at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
According to a communique on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, signed by CAF Director of Communications, Alexandre Siewe, 30% of fans will be allowed to watch the game at the 24,325 capacity Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Nigeria top Group L with eight points, one point ahead of their next group opponent, Benin Republic after four games.
Sierra Leone (3 points) and Lesotho (2 points) are the other teams in the group.
The three-time African Champions (Nigeria) will trade tackle with Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on March 30, 2021, after their next game against Benin Republic at Charles De Gaulle, Port Novo on March 27, 2021.
The Teslim Balogun Stadium once served as the venue for the Nigerian FA Cup final, just before it hosted some matches in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup youth tournament held in Nigeria. It sits adjacent to the Lagos National Stadium.
