Cameroonian defender Jérôme Junior Onguéné has picked up a third Austrian Bundesliga title with Red Bull Salzburg.

The 22-year-old former FC Sochaux defender has helped his side to a three nil victory over visiting TSV Hartberg on Sunday.

The victory opens 9 points gap between Red Bull Salzburg and second placed LASK with two games of the playoffs phase of the season left.

The latest success is Salzburg’s seventh League in a row.

The title success completes a double for the Jérôme and his mates who also claimed the Austrian Cup in May.

The Mbalmayo native has featured in 33 games for the Club, scoring once and assisted two other goals this season.

It is the sixth trophy in the career of the former French Under-19 international.

In addition to the three titles, he is double winner of the Austrian Cup, and 2016 winnner of the UEFA Under-19 championship with France.

He is a part of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon team these days.
The former Stuttgart defender has two caps for the team his father, Jean Manga Onguene also starred in.
