Buea United FC of Buea legendary captain Meme Ndialle Clifford has died in the early hours of Sunday, January 24.
The Southwest regional championship great passed on to eternity after weeks of battling with health challenges created by a ghastly accident he was involved in late last year.
The long standing servant of Buea United FC spent over ten years on the books of the Club serving in multiple roles under different coaches.
Meme represented the Club as a right-back, center-back and holding midfielder before leaving last season to join ambitious side Istanbul FA also of Buea.
35-year-old Meme displayed his combative character even in the sick bed but unfortunately lost the battle for his life on a Sunday at the Regional hospital in Buea.
He leaves behind friends, football stakeholders and family to mourn him.
