Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Bryan Mbeumo was one of the scorers in his side’s 3-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday in match-day 32 of the English championship.
Two late goals in the second segment added to their first half-way into the first segment was sufficient to give all three points to the host.
Cameroon-eligible Bryan Mbeumo put the host ahead 23 minutes into the encounter with a goal off an assist from S Canos.
Both sides wasted guilt-edge opportunities in the first segment and the score remained the same till the end of the first-half.
Upon resumption for the second segment both sides made a couple of changes with the hopes of getting an impact on the situation of the game but it wasn’t to be for the visitors.
Brentford scored their second goal in the 74th minute through Saman Ghoddos who was assisted by Bryan Mbeumo having an afternoon to remember.
Bech Sorenson completed the rout in the 83rd minute with the third goal for a Brentford side that looked improved in the second segment.
Bryan was substituted in the 85th minute of the game after a more than satisfactory performance on the day.
The game ended on a three-nil score in favor of the host, thus handing them another important three points in their promotion push.
Bryan has scored four goals and lay eight assists in 30 championship games this season.
Brentford FC are currently second-seeded in the championship with 60 points ahead of their trip to tenth-placed Stoke City FC on Saturday.
