Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon forward Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford has scored his 16th goal of the season in their comfortable three nil victory over Reading, can report.

Barely days after the forward was tested positive of the Corona Virus, he has returned to action and looking sharp as usual.

Mbeumo missed last mid-week’s game against Fulham due to the virus, but recovered and featured from the bench in their weekend’s victory against West Brom Albion.

It has been a remarkable debut campaign for the 20-year-old erstwhile Es Troyes winger who has scored 16 goals and provided 7 assists in 40 games.

Mbeumo has represented France at Under-17, 20 and 21 categories, but remains eligible to represent Cameroon at senior international level through his parents.

Brentford are currently occupying the third spot on the championship log with 69 points, six points off the top spot with six games left.

Brentford FC take their promotion push to Wigan on Saturday.
