Potential Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defender Bryan Djile Nokoue has signed a first professional contract at French Ligue 1 side Saint Etienne,kick442.com can report.
The 18-year-old defender who joined the club last April from Montrouge FC 92 impressed in the just-ended with the reserves of Saint Etienne resulting in the offer of a two-year semi-professional contract offer, according to Camedit.com.
The former AC Boulogne-Billancourt defender was one of the six foreign-based players drafted into coach Thomas Libiih’s preselected Cameroon players for last year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup camp in Brazil but was unfortunately left of the tournament’s squad in respect of a presidential degree.
Djile joins a long list of young Cameroonian footballers that the club has taken a chance on.
