Images and videos have surfaced of Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo visiting one of his parents’ village and country Cameroon.
The former France youth international is having a great time in Fontsa-Touala for a personal visit which gives him the chance of meeting more of his village people.
According to information gathered from close sources, Mbeumo went to his hometown interact with the society that cherishes him.
From the pictures making the rounds, Mbeumo came to Cameeoon in very modest clothes, without any noticeable media presence or security men or flashy cars, and took pictures and videos with the villagers without restriction.
Many social media users have praised the humility of the 22-year-old despite being one of the most successful players with the Premier League last season.
The native of the West Region Cameroon who is uncapped for any category of the Cameroon national team scored four goals and provided seven assists in 35 matches for his English club last term.
The native of Avallon- France came through the youth teams of CO Avallonais. Mbeumo has sparkled since arriving Brentford three seasons ago.
Mbeumo is eligible to represent either France by birth or Cameroon by descent.
Though he possesses birthright to the Cameroon nationality, he has represented only Les Blues at youth levels and is expected to nail his colours to the French mast someday in future though Cameroon is keen.
