President Samuel Eto’o Fils of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT has penned a release re-appointing Benjamin Didier Banlock as the Secretary General of the institution for the next four years.
The decision was made public this Tuesday, less than a week after the first Executive Committee meeting and on the heels of a top management meeting held via videoconference.
The move by Eto’o ends the reign of Parfait Siki Nicolas Awono who occupied the role on interim basis in the past seven months.
Benjamin Didier Banlock returns to familiar territory having previously served as Secretary General of the institution between October 2018 and August 2021.
42-year old Banlock is a holder of a Master’s degree in Strategic management.
The erstwhile director of Wyscout Africa will direct FECAFOOT’s administration in the Eto’o era.
Parfait previously served as Director of Communications before assumption of the SG role.
It is unclear if Parfait will return to his previous office or otherwise.
