The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has published the of the case pitting the Comoros Football Federation to CAF.
This comes after the body listened to both parties last week.
The Comoros Football Federation had earlier asked CAF to apply it’s on article 92.1 on hosting rights and dump Cameroon out of the upcoming AFCON after the 5 times winners lost the host rights for the 2019 tournament.
The decision to ignore the application of the said text by CAF pushed Comoros to TAS as they were hoping to see TAS through out Cameroon for them to have a chance to qualify for the tournament.
But CAS has this Tuesday decided to reject the appeal to suspend Cameroon.
This decision comes to calm Cameroonian nerves (if anyone was nervous) and gives Cameroon the level head to prepare and defend the AFCON crown later this month in Egypt.
