Esperance de Tunis have joined the race for the signature of Burkinabe striker,Sogne Yacouba on the books of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The Tunisian club is set to offer $2 Million USD to take the goal poacher to Tunis according details gathered by Kumasi based Radio ASHH FM.
The clubs reportedly chasing the Burkinabe international now include;Sudanese club Al Hilal plus Zambian sides Zesco United and Nkana FC
They are ready to table what Al Ahly is bringing on board more than $1.5m but Yacouba will play Kotoko to the end of the final of CAF Confederation cup.
“I have advice Sogne Yacouba to send kumasi Asante kotoko to the finals of the ongoing CAF Confederation cup before we could talk about the offer which is coming on board’‘; A source said
The 27 year old striker joined Asante Kotoko in the 2017 season and has been very important for the club in the final third since then.
His hold-up play and ability to create space for his fellow forwards is tailor made thus making him a striker any club as serious as the Kumasi giants will want to have.
Yacouba open his goal account for the season against Nkana FC in round 3 of the ongoing CAF Confederation cup and has been a sure starter for Kotoko with 2 assists to add to his one goal this season.
