26 year old sports journalist, Ndi Tsembom Elvis has been appointed Secretary General of the North West bureau of FECAFOOT. He was appointed during a meeting of FECAFOOT North West that took place this Wednesday January 16, 2019 at the Hilltop hotel in Bamenda, and chaired by FECAFOOT North West President, Felix MBINGHA. The meeting had as one of its key points, the appointment of a secretary General, amongst others.
Joined on telephone immediately after his appointment, Ndi Tsembom told Kick442.com that he has worked with the new FECAFOOT North West through out the election period, thereby earning the confidence of the new FECAFOOT North West boss. He insisted their first target is to ensure that they deliver the Bamenda municipal stadium. He also disclosed that they will be meeting the football actors in the North West region, the Governor and the Government delegate to the Bamenda city council, in the days ahead, to see what is obtained on the ground as far as football infrastructure are concern.
Ndi Tsembom was reportedly the preferred choice out of the four who were vying for that position. Born in Mankon Bamenda on September 20, 1992, the native of Small Babanki in the Mezam Division of the North West region, he is currently head of the sports desk of Bamenda based Radio station, Rush FM, and can count about 10 years experience in sports reporting, which spans through his time with media organs like Afrique Nouvelle and many others. He is current team press officer of South West regional league side, America for Africa FC, and now join a relatively young FECAFOOT North West team, headed by Felix MBINGHA, who was elected into office on Tuesday Novembe 27, 2018, with the aim of revamping North West football.
