The president of the Cameroon Football Federation,Seidou Mbombo Njoya has signed a release this Monday, instructing all parties involved to settle their differences within 7 days and set the ball rolling for the 2018/2019 Football season in Cameroon.
This comes after the kick off without clubs scenario in all 8 league one games programmed over the weekend in Cameroon.
In-house issues at the level of the League’s Management body(LFPC) in Cameroon plus the “cross fire” between the president of the League,General Pierre Semengue and the Association of Elite clubs caused total failure in the attempt to launch the championship over the weekend.
The Syndicate of Elite clubs wants a general assembly as a prerequisite for kick off but General Pierre Semengue wants a general assembly after off of the New season,This is the “mother” of all the problems
President Njoya had earlier tried to sort out the issues between the different faction same with the minister of Sports and physical education, Narcisse Kombi Moule, but all they said fell on deaf ears.
The FECAFOOT boss has taken a very strong stance on the matter this Monday. “Resume the Leagues within 7 days otherwise, legal disposition will be employed to save the image of Cameroon Football”.
Monday 4th February 2019 will be 7 days after this release.
The countdown starts now.
