After an uncertain and dismal AFCON by his standards, Arnaud Sutchiun Djoum has been snapped up in the transfer market from former club, Hearts of the Midlothian after 4 years and an accumulated 110 appearances, to Saudi Arabian first-tier side, AL RAED.
The 2017 AFCON winning midfielder is perhaps already thinking of drawing the curtains in a few years, given that he is gradually getting pass his peak, now aged 30.
AL RAED becomes the midfield metronomes 7th club, since beginning his senior career some 13 years back with Brussels FC. AL RAED have been playing in the Pro league since 2008, and they ended 8 of 16 teams in the 2018/19 season. Djoum is a great addition and would be looking to put forth his usual calmness and composure from the heart of the midfield, to move the club to a better position in the table in the upcoming season.
