kick442.com can now authoritatively report that PWD Social Club of Bamenda has ended their working relationship with coach Augustine Tchoupo.
Augustine Tchoupo was appointed head coach of the ABAKWA Boys on Friday March 29, 2019, replacing Jean Baptiste Toguem, on a one and a half year contract. The former player and coach of Stade Renard Melong, was given as immediate task to take PWD out of the bottom of Pool A of the championship, and make sure that the team avoid the relegation Playoffs, but the team however failed to attend the targets, as they finished last but one in their pool.
Augustine Tchoupo won his first two games against Union and New stars, before being stopped by Avion in his third out. During his four months stay at the helm of the ABAKWA Boys, he guided the team in 13 outings, (11 in the league one and two in the Cameroon cup), where the team won five, drew five and lost three, scoring 16 goals and conceding 7.
But now our sources have hinted that there will be a shake up in the technical bench of PWD before the start of the new Football season.

Augustine TChoupo has once coached Victoria United alias OPOPO and brought FOVU of Baham back to top flight despite taking over the team when they were in the second half of the table that same season. He has spent much of his life in Southwest region of Cameroon where he coached multiple clubs.
PWD of Bamenda is still to make an official statement on the subject but we understand the club is in the market for a new coach and has interviewed a few potential substitutes.
