Promising South African defender Bradley Cross is said to be closely monitored by a host of Premier League clubs, including heavy weights like Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
The 19-year-old native of Kempton Park is currently with the youth team of German Bundesliga outfit Shalke 04, since joining them in 2018 from Bidvest Wits.
Bradley Cross is a product of the now-defunct Mpumalanga Black Aces youth set-up.
He has been an ever present in the defense of Shalke’s U-19’s this season and has caught the eye of some of the world’s greatest clubs with his outstanding displays.
Cross has built a solid central defense partnership with Malick Thiaw, who is also on the radars of Europe’s top dogs, over the last 12 months.
The Daily Mail reports that, several English top flight sides will continue to keep an eye on the progress of the young South African when football returns to normal after the storm of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Bradley Cross holds a UK passport which will enable him to move to England without the need for a work-permit.
His current contract with Shalke’s Academy expires in a years time.
