The verbal warfare between Seedorf and Petrus Boumal has taken another twist, and certainly now has the adrenaline of these two pumping.
After the disappointing outing of the Indomitable omitable Lions of Cameroon in the ongoing 2019 AFCON, football fans have now left the stands of football to watch probably what could be described as a verbal mix-martial art cage fight between Petrus Boumal and Clarence Seedorf.
Clarence Seedorf has finally spoken after the severe, sharp and strident outing made by one of his own players Petrus Boumal after the dismal AFCON campaign.
The Dutch coach told Canal2inter: “it’s obvious that since I arrived, I’m free of my choices. And if a player has made a voice note, it is proof of immaturity from his path and his entourage”.
As reported by kick442.com some days back, the 26-year-old Ural Yekaterinburg defensive midfielder made some serious allegations on social media, questioning the gaffer’s competence and Eto’o’s involvement in the selection of players. From the latest press outing, coach Seedorf has refuted all allegations.
It remains to be seen if Seedorf is given yet another chance to build a team that would compete for the AFCON 2021 on home soil. One thing is for certain, Petrus Boumal would not be donning the national colours anytime soon.
