Botswana Football Association have suspended with immediate effect their CEO, Mfolo Mfolo pending the completion of investigations after their team was kicked out of the ongoing COSAFA U17 Championship following their players failed an Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test.
Mr. Mfolo Mfolo whose contract was extended last year, faces the brunt of an unusual phenomenon at the COSAFA competition on Friday.
The FA of Botswana in a media release states that the players were not overaged as the players are nurtured and brought into the team from 14 to 15.
BFS stated that a three-man committee has been set up to investigate the issue and give a report by next week.
The release ends by saying ” The BFA will not give further interviews regarding this matter until the investigation is complete”
