Cameroon and Olympique Lyonnais goalkeeper Boris Essele Junior has left his parent Club on loan to third tier French side Bourge en Bresse.
Bourge en Bresse confirmed the deal on Friday through a tweet on their official handle.
The one-time Under-17 Lions of Cameroon keeper is in search of a first team experience as he has been mostly in the flanks since arriving Olympique Lyonnais.
Essele joins coach Maxime Cassara’s team as the third choice keeper but at least has the chance to be a first team player.
It is second loan spell since he became an Olympique Lyonnais keeper. He spent last season at SC Amiens.
Sources say Olympique Lyonnais plan to integrate the Nkufo Academy product in their first team when he returns from this loan.
Lyon’s eagle-eyed Head of Scouting Florian Maurice masterminded his switch to the Groupama Stadium two seasons ago on a four-year-deal.
