Ghana’s deputy sports minister Honourable Perry Okudzeto has met Under 20 representative of the country in upcoming AFCON Under 20 competition in Niger.
Honourable Okudzeto meet the players and the management team of the Black Satellites to give them the desired motivation to make their participation in the Niger for Africa Football jamboree great.
The Tournament will run from the 2nd till the 17th February 2019.
The minister told the player they had the blessings, support and prayer of President Nana Addo, Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Asiamah and the entire nation to see then put up the best of performance at the tournament.
He also assured them of the readiness of Government to support them in every way as they play for the ultimate in the tournament.
Ghana is in Group B of the competition and will face Burkina Faso on February 3rd, 2019 at Stade de Maradi, before confronting Senegal 3 days after and finish group stage responsibility on the 9th against Mali.
Ghana hold 3 crowns in the competition won in 1993,1999 and 2009.
