Liverpool duo of Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane have been shortlisted among nominees for the best male player award by FIFA.
The duo who contributed to English club’s (Liverpool) stellar performance in the 2019/2020 English Premier League season to see them emerge champions.
The two forwards have constantly carried the club with their goals and assists forming a significant part of the club’s goal ratio.
African football and Sengalese star, Sadio Mane scored 20 goals in total for Liverpool while the Egyptian star, Mohammed Salah scored 23 goals in the 2019/2020 season respectively.
The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony holds on 17th December, 2020.
