Besiktas and Cameroon forward Vincent Aboubakar scored his 7th goal in five games in Friday’s three-nil win at home to Kasimpasa in a Turkish Super Lig game.
The confident Cameroon striker came into the fixture on a run of scoring in five consecutive games for Club and country. As expected he didn’t disappoint.
Aboubakar scored his side’s third goal in the 75th minute of the game after Bernard Mensah had opened scores on the struck of half-time and Andrew Hutchinson scored the second in 68th minute.
The win is Besiktas’ sixth in ten games this season and it takes the Club’s tally to 19 points which equals fourth spot on the log after match-day 10.
Besiktas travels to Alanyaspor in their match-day 11 assignment on Sunday, December 13.
Aboubakar with is currently amongst five players currently second seeding Loic Remy and Davidson who are current lead scorers with six goals.
