As Senegal and Nigeria prepares to represent African at the next edition of FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Paraguay, Nigeria beach Soccer side (Super Sand Eagles) are fourth (4th) in Africa on the latest Beach Soccer World Rankings.
Nigeria are currently 22nd in the world with 870 points.
African Champions, Senegal are the top placed African beach Soccer playing nation as they are currently 11th in the world followed by Morocco in 17th position with 1018 points and Egypt with 1001 points are 18th.
Brazil is the best beach Soccer playing country in the world followed by Portugal and Russia. Italy, Iran Paraguay, Spain Switzerland, Tahiti and Mexico completes the world top 10 countries.
The Beach Soccer World Cup will take place from November 21 until December 1, 2019 in Paraguay with African Champions, Senegal and Runners Up, Nigeria representing Africa. This is the tenth edition of the competition which first took place in 2005 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. 16 countries will be represented at this year’s event.
