German giants Bayer Leverkusen have tabled a €20 bid for Ajax Amsterdam shot stopper Andre Onana Onana.
Reports this Monday in Germany revealed that the 2001 UEFA Champions League finalist are keen on luring the former Barca reserves keeper to the Bayer Arena.
Onana has been a subject of intense transfer speculations this summer with a good number of Clubs on the gossip column as interested parties.
Former Club Barcelona, French giants PSG, multiple European Champions AC Milan plus Premier League quartet Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been linked with a move for the Fundesport Academy graduate.
The Ajax net minder is rated at €40 Million by the Dutch side who won’t stand on his way if the right offer comes.
Premier League outfit Chelsea have been qualified as favorite in the race for his signature but the Blues with a perpetual goalkeeping problem this season are yet to make a bold step in their quest to recruit the 24-year-old.
The Cameroonian joined the Dutch side in 2015 from Barcelona B and became Ajax’s undisputable first choice keeper in the 2016/2017 season.
Since then, he has made 122 appearances in all competitions.
Last season, he was involved in 39 games, conceded 37 goals in all competitions with 15 clean sheets from 3500 minutes of football.
The Ngol Ngok native has contributed in winning one Dutch League title and a Dutch domestic cup for the Ajax faithfuls.
