Since moving on a free transfer to SH Shenhua from Henan J on February 2021, Christian Moungang Bassogog is yet to kick the ball but resumed training this week ahead of matches in the Chinese super league.
The 25 year old Winger/forward has throughout his 4 years career in the league has registered a total of 30 goals and would wish he improves on the numbers with his new club, yet will have to report to national duty before making his first outing for club.
Bassogog is among 37 preselected Players by Cameroon’s coach Antonio Oliviera C to play AFCON 2022 qualifying games against Cape Verde and Rwanda on the 22nd and 30th of March.
Bassogog who’s recent outings with the indomitable lions have been relatively quiet remains one of Cameroon’s bright prospects ahead of the AFCON which will be staged 9 months from now on home soil.
