The lone goal scorer for the intermediate Lions of Cameroon so far in the Total CHAN 2020, Solomon Charles Banga Bindjeme, says his team needs to score more goals and consolidate their victories if they want to win the CHAN on home soil.
The pillar of a defender who plays for Cameroon’s CAF confederations cup representative, Cotonsport of Garoua made the remarks Saturday January 16 after Cameroon narrowly defeated Zimbabwe 1#0 thanks to his goal.
Asked about what to be ameliorated in the team, the defender was categorical with is response.
“I think we have to score a lot of goals from the start of the match. We have to make good use of our chances to put the match beyond the reach of our opponents”, Solomon Charles Banga Bidjeme said.
As regards Cameroon’s second group match against Mali, Banga Bidjeme said, it’s match by match and they will immediately get back to work and prepare for the next match so as to find the best tactics to defeat Mali.
Solomon Charles Banga Bidjeme scored the lone goal for the intermediate Lions of Cameroon against the warriors of Zimbabwe.
The intermediate amateur lions of Cameroon will play against Mali in their second group match on Wednesday January 20, 2021 at 5pm Cameroon time.
