Bafmeng United of Coach Tama Wango has defeated Yong Sport Academy (YOSA) of Coach Nkabyo Martin by 1 goal to zero. This was the outcome of Match Number of day one in the ongoing Bamenda Preseason Solidarity Tournament currently taking place at the St Paul field in Nkwen Bamenda.
The football showpiece that saw North West regional league side Bafmeng United putting up stiff resistance against YOSA scored at the 9th minutes into the first half through Fombad Bless.
The young talents of Coach Nkabyo Martin despite having chances to equal the scoreline situation fail to have difficulties overpowering the defence wall of Bafmeng United.
According to Coach Tama Wango, he feels satisfied after his team defeated YOSA. “We are satisfied with the victory of today, especially against an Elite One Team. We are still building this team and our objective is to have team solidarity, team spirit and to win. This will give us the way to enter into regional league championship which we are targeting to be at the top”, said the Coach.
Having lost the game, Coach Nkabyo Martin says he loves his team to win clubs like Coton Sport of Garoua, Canon of Yaounde and other Elite One Clubs which is what his objectives are.
” We are still trying to build this team after losing many players to several clubs. They are still getting to know Rach other well and today I saw the play idea in them which is very assuring. Our objective Is to prepare for the Championship and the games we need to win are against Canon, Coton and other clubs that we will be facing when the League starts”, said Nkabyo Martin.
Note should be taken that the Bamenda preseason solidarity tournament has 8 teams separated into two poles with each having four teams with the first top in each pole to play the final.
