Cameroon top flight side Bamboutos of Mbouda have handed new contracts to three of their out of contract stars, Ulrich Pange Lobe, Rostand Moukap and Rene Ndi Nzenewo.

It’s been a gloomy build up for next season for the Mangwa Boys with some of their key players leaving and management failing to get their act right.

Goalkeeper Junior Narcise Nlend has left for Cotonsport of Garoua, while back-up goalkeeper Herman Talla is rumoured to be on his way to Bamenda to sign for PWD of Bamenda.

Rock solid central defender Aurelien Ngombe Etame has also joint Cotonsport, while dependable right-back Gaël Eroume has signed for Stade Renard of Melong.

The departure of Team Manager Justin Lambo was a clear signal that the club was taking a wrong path.

However, recent news from Mbouda is giving some hopes to supporters of arguably the most supported club in Cameroon, as coach Laurent Djam is close to a contract extension.

The news of the new contracts for captain Rostand Moukap, highly talented playmaker Rene Ndi and pacy winger Ulrich Pange Lobe will breathe a new air of optimism around te club.

If coach Laurent Djam can succeed to convince the other key players like Aristide Medjo, Mark Ojong, Alain Nguimgo Njouaka, Steve Pagnol Tchouassi, Patrick Kibyen, Mbappe Muller and Chevalier Pierre Victor to stay at the club, with a few worthy new recruits, then they will still be a force to reckon with next season.
