Cameroon Elite One side Bamboutos of Mbouda FC have extended their contract with lead trainer Laurent Djam.
The former Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe and Eding Sport de la Lekie trainer has agreed a new one-year-deal with officials of the Club, per Club sources on Monday.
Djam masterminded a star-studded Bamboutos FC team to a 4th-place finish last season.
The 2017 Cup of Cameroon winner with New Stars of Douala and 2019 Elite One winner with UMS of Loum is one of the most experienced trainer in the land, justifying his output and the confidence of the Club in him.
Coach Djam has already begin rebuilding his squad as a handful of players left in the close season trainer window.
The erstwhile Stade Renard of Melong and Botafogo of Douala head coach will be out to end Bamboutos FC’s 54-year wait for a title in an official competition.
